One of the greatest pleasures of being both a music lover and an anime fan is experiencing the moments both so elegantly come together. “Umatane Sunshine” by K-pop band, Unlimited Tone, provided one of those not so uncommon moments. The anime I’m currently watching is a serene little show called Tanaka-kun we Itsumo Kedargue, or Tanaka-kun Is Always Listless. The show centers around a high school boy who’s obsessed with laziness and living with zero motivation. It’s comedic at times and incredibly heartfelt at others. Needless to say, it’s on my wishlist, whenever it gets a DVD release over here.
On the topic at hand, this song is the show’s opening theme and it suits the vibe flawlessly. It’s a joyful lullaby that’s become one of the few openings I never skip.
